Jim and Dee Park did not formalize the Central GA K9 SAR Team, until Carl & Dona joined.  Their combined knowledge in Search & Rescue coupled with the ability to create training scenarios for the dogs, created an environment for new team members looking to join a professional / quality team.  Since the team’s inception, with just four dogs, the team has grown significantly.  The founders are proud to have the below team members to carry on the Search & Rescue legacy.

We had pulled out another dog prior to seeing Thor(his name was pen #191 at the time) who wanted nothing to do with us. We walked by pen #191 and this adorable black lab puppy (about 10 months old) jumped on the window.  Several other people were there and walked by but he did not even acknowledge them. We pulled him out and he was all over us. He even refused to leave the play pen without us being right behind him. We like to say he adopted us prior to us signing the papers.  We brought him home 3 days later after being neutered.  We later found out(via bloodwork) that Thor is a lab/rottweiler/chow mix.
